Is there any way to prepare a BASIC program by an editor on a "normal" PC and then to transform it into such a WAV file that SHARP PC-1401 can read (and would not produce ERROR 8)?

The problem is that BAS2IMG utility works only for a SHARP PC-1500.

bas2wav for the PC1401/2/3.

Do you plan to write a new tool, or is it possible to get the source
for your bas2img (which currently supports the PC1500) ?

This BAS2IMG was written by Joachim BOHS, I will ask him if he accept to put the source available for download.
